Junior Production Officer

About the role

The Junior Production Officer will support the manufacturing of hormone products in a GMP‑compliant environment. This role focuses on operating and maintaining packaging equipment while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, data‑integrity standards, and safety policies.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) in the hormone facility.
• Achieve monthly and yearly production targets for the department.
• Identify and manage alarms according to SOPs.
• Monitor in‑process parameters using PLC/SCADA systems as defined in the Batch Process Record (BPR).
• Operate packaging machines following equipment‑specific SOPs and perform troubleshooting when needed.
• Coordinate with colleagues, HOD, and QA to resolve discrepancies in the packing section.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of packaging equipment and maintain spare‑part inventories.
• Minimize equipment breakdowns and support the engineering department.
• Maintain secondary and primary packing records, update logbooks, and ensure batch packing compliance.
• Follow Abbott safety policies, report incidents, accidents, near‑misses, and participate in behavior‑based safety programs.
• Complete required training within stipulated timelines.
