Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to drive product excellence through supplier quality management, mould validation, and New Product Development (NPD) qualification. You will lead audits, inspections, and root‑cause investigations to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Audit raw material and component suppliers, track defect rates and delivery performance, and approve Corrective Action Reports.
• Perform incoming quality inspections (IQC) and coordinate first‑article inspections for new moulds.
• Review tool design drawings, monitor mould trials (T1, T2), and document process parameters.
• Lead NPD quality gate reviews, create control plans, PFMEA and DFMEA, and validate pilot production runs.
• Investigate equipment failures, component defects, and line stoppages using 5‑Why, Fishbone, and FMEA methods.
• Issue, track, and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and implement mistake‑proofing (Poka‑Yoke) solutions.
• Drive DMAIC projects, conduct SPC, Gage R&R, and capability studies (Cp/Cpk) using Minitab.
• Collaborate with production teams to apply lean principles and eliminate waste.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5‑8 years of quality engineering experience in equipment manufacturing, R&D, or NPD.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• ISO Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
