Junior Architect

About the role

PraJc, a design‑focused architecture studio in Kottayam, is looking for a Junior Architect to join its on‑site team. You will work closely with senior architects to develop human‑centred design concepts for residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conceptual and schematic design phases, translating ideas into clear drawings and 3D models.
• Create and update CAD, SketchUp and Revit models, and prepare presentation graphics.
• Support material selection, interior layout planning and design documentation.
• Coordinate with senior architects, consultants, vendors and participate in site visits and measurements.
• Help track project timelines, progress and ensure design consistency with PraJc’s narrative‑driven approach.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• Strong visual and spatial communication skills with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Kerala is a plus.
• Experience with model making, material research or on‑site coordination is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit (or similar BIM tools).
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for presentation work.
• Understanding of BIM integrations, design automation plug‑ins or related software development concepts.
