Junior Accountant – GST & Tally Specialist

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic CA firm in Kolkata. The successful candidate will handle core accounting tasks, ensure tax compliance, and support client financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and file GST returns and other statutory compliance documents.
- Handle income tax filings, ensuring adherence to applicable laws.
- Maintain client accounts, generate financial statements, and assist with audits.
- Support statutory reporting and other regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) degree.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- GST compliance and filing.
- Income Tax regulations and filing.
- Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
