Java Backend Developer

About the role

Isiri Technologies INC is seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop and maintain high‑performance backend services for enterprise applications. The role focuses on building scalable micro‑services and REST APIs using modern Java and cloud‑native technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy backend services with Java and Spring Boot, supporting Java 8, 11 and 17+.
• Implement micro‑services architecture, ensuring independent, reliable, and scalable components.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with third‑party systems.
• Work with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases, optimizing queries via Hibernate/JPA.
• Apply performance tuning, security best practices (JWT, OAuth2) and DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Data JPA.
• Hands‑on experience building micro‑services and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of database technologies and ORM tools.
• Familiarity with containerization, orchestration and CI/CD processes.
