Software Development Manager – 3P Seller Tools & Generative AI

About the role

Amazon's International Seller Services (ISS) is looking for a Software Development Manager to lead a team building innovative tools and generative‑AI solutions for third‑party sellers worldwide. You will shape products that automate seller workflows and enhance the seller experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers developing internal and external tools powered by cloud computing and generative AI for 3P sellers.
• Collaborate with product managers and global business teams to define and execute roadmaps for AI‑driven seller experiences.
• Partner with other engineering groups and applied‑science teams to integrate the latest generative‑AI advances.
• Design, build, and scale multi‑tier web services, ensuring reliability and performance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 8+ years leading definition and development of multi‑tier web services.
• Strong knowledge of full software development lifecycle practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and production operations.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
