IT Infrastructure Engineer – Network & Cloud Operations

About the role

YRG MERF is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and enhance its IT environment across multiple sites. The role combines hands‑on infrastructure management with end‑user support, ensuring reliable network, server, and cloud services for the organisation’s health‑focused programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, and maintain network, server, storage and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and configure hardware, software and network upgrades.
• Monitor system performance, conduct troubleshooting and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Support data backup, disaster recovery planning and routine maintenance.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory, endpoint devices and security compliance.
• Manage patch deployment, automation scripts and log analysis.
• Provide Help Desk support for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS devices, including Office 365 and Exchange Online.
• Assist with video‑conferencing and communication platform administration.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in dynamic, field‑oriented environments.
• Excellent communication skills for supporting end users and documenting procedures.
