IT Engineer

About the role

Endor Labs is looking for an experienced IT Engineer to build and maintain a secure, reliable technology environment for its employees. You will own day‑to‑day IT operations across endpoints, identity, networking, and office technology while helping the company scale its IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Own employee onboarding and offboarding, including laptop setup, configuration, deployment, and access provisioning.
• Provide hands‑on support for macOS and Windows environments, troubleshooting hardware, software, and OS issues.
• Manage and secure corporate endpoints using MDM tools such as Jamf and security platforms like CrowdStrike.
• Handle software deployment, security updates, patching, device compliance, and endpoint configuration.
• Administer user accounts, SSO, and access to SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Okta, etc.).
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and related networking issues.
• Support business applications and office technology, including Zoom and conference‑room A/V systems.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, procurement, and device lifecycle management.
• Develop and improve IT processes, documentation, and automation for scalability.
• Partner with security and other teams to ensure strong IT security and compliance posture.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in IT support or operations, preferably in a fast‑growing technology company.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience supporting macOS and Windows, including MDM and device management tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoints, hardware, software, LAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, IP addressing, Wi‑Fi).
• Experience with identity and access management, SSO, and SaaS administration (Google Workspace, Okta).
• Familiarity with endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike and security best practices.
• Experience supporting video‑conferencing and office A/V technologies (Zoom).
• Preferred: knowledge of SOC 2 compliance and scripting with Bash or Python.
