In‑Stock Manager – Inventory Planning & Forecasting

About the role

Join Amazon as an In‑Stock Manager to act as the primary point of contact for brands and sellers, ensuring seamless inventory replenishment and accurate demand forecasting. You will collaborate with operations teams and vendors to resolve inbound issues and maintain high in‑stock performance across assigned categories.

Key responsibilities

• Support vendors in navigating Amazon systems, tools, and processes.
• Own end‑to‑end in‑stock planning, executing demand forecasts using Excel templates and Python automation.
• Develop and maintain inventory health dashboards and sell‑through trend analyses.
• Provide training to vendors on catalog content, purchase order management, and shipment processes.
• Identify and resolve catalog, inventory, and operations errors, keeping detailed task records.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives through data‑driven analysis and automation.
• Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, handling escalations and updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or a related field.
• Experience in in‑stock planning, demand forecasting, or supply‑chain management within e‑commerce or retail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships.

Required skills

• Python (pandas, NumPy, automation scripting)
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets for demand‑planning templates and reporting
• Data analysis of large datasets to derive inventory health metrics
