Infrastructure Support Engineer – Storage & Server

About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to manage and support server and storage environments for our global operations. The role is based in Coimbatore and works within a 24/7 follow‑the‑sun model.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
• Resolve server‑related incidents following defined procedures and SLA targets.
• Assist with routine server monitoring, basic maintenance and initial troubleshooting.
• Coordinate hardware and software support with internal teams and external vendors.
• Perform basic hardware troubleshooting on SAN/NAS storage systems, including cabling and part replacement.
• Track and document storage incidents, escalations and vendor communications.
• Participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions to adopt best practices.

Required profile

• B.E. in IT or Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, focusing on server and storage management.
• Ability to work in a 24/5 follow‑the‑sun support environment.
