Senior Associate - Software lifecycle requirements management

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Associate to manage software lifecycle requirements, ensuring clear, complete, and traceable specifications throughout the development process.

Key responsibilities

• Support gathering and analysis of customer requirements through meetings, discussions, workshops, and review of requirement documents.
• Document and maintain customer/system requirements in IBM DOORS, ensuring requirements are clear, complete, consistent, and properly structured.
• Maintain requirements traceability between customer requirements, system requirements, design, test cases, and verification results using DOORS links.
• Perform requirements reviews and quality checks to identify missing information, ambiguities, inconsistencies, duplicates, and traceability gaps.
• Support requirement changes by updating requirements, attributes, links, baselines, and related documentation in DOORS.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and support timely resolution of requirement‑related issues.
• Prepare requirements status and traceability reports and support project teams in maintaining requirement baselines, version history, and documentation.

Required profile

• BCA/B.Sc/Any equivalent degree in Computer applications.
• 4‑5 years of experience in requirements management.

Required skills

• IBM DOORS – hands‑on experience in Requirements Management.
• Requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation and validation.
• Requirements traceability and traceability matrix.
• Requirement reviews and quality checks.
• Change request and impact analysis.
• Baseline, version and configuration management.
• Customer and stakeholder management (preferred).
• Good analytical, communication and documentation skills (preferred).
