Infrastructure Run & Stability Engineer II

About the role

You will join Invesco's Intelligent Automation Team, a cross‑functional group focused on modernising legacy processes and embedding automation across the enterprise. As an Automation Engineer you will design, implement and support automation solutions that span infrastructure and business domains, helping the organisation achieve its cloud‑first and automation‑first strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of assigned automation initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and minimal backlog.
• Design, develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, AWS Bedrock, Power Automate, AWX/Ansible and ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to manage dependencies, align priorities and guarantee successful delivery.
• Lead L2/L3 incident resolution, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve service stability.
• Continuously identify manual processes that can be automated and optimise operational workflows.
• Ensure automation solutions comply with enterprise standards for security, scalability, resilience, monitoring and integration.
• Support migration of legacy processes to strategic cloud‑based platforms.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in automation engineering, infrastructure operations or software development.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one of the listed automation technologies.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and manage complex dependencies.
• Strong analytical skills for incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.
