Techno Functional Consultant – SAP S/4HANA EAM & Cloud Solutions

About the role

Join BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad as a Techno Functional Consultant, bridging maintenance business needs with SAP S/4HANA EAM solutions and driving innovative cloud‑centric asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a techno‑functional expert for SAP S/4HANA EAM, aligning business requirements with SAP standard design.
• Design, configure, and enhance end‑to‑end EAM processes, including the 9‑phase maintenance model and capacity‑oriented planning.
• Define and implement Fiori‑first, role‑based user experiences for planners, supervisors, and technicians.
• Contribute to SAP Field Service Management integration for mobile execution and dispatching.
• Support SAP Asset Performance Management use cases such as condition‑based and predictive maintenance.
• Perform requirements engineering, workshops, gap analysis, and translate needs into SAP‑standard solution concepts (RICEFW, integration scenarios).
• Collaborate with ABAP, Fiori/UI5, integration, and DevOps teams to ensure end‑to‑end delivery.
• Support testing (unit, integration, UAT), deployments, 2nd/3rd‑level operations, change management, and data migration.

Required profile

• University degree in IT, Engineering, Business Informatics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with SAP EAM S/4HANA and integration with MM, FI/CO, PS.
• Strong functional knowledge of EAM maintenance and asset management processes.
• Proven experience with SAP Fiori apps and role‑based UX concepts.
• Good understanding of SAP Field Service Management and/or Asset Performance Management.
• Technical understanding of ABAP, enhancements, interfaces, and Fiori/UI5.
• Experience in agile/DevOps delivery models and international environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical skills, and fluent English communication.
