Implementation Engineer

About the role

BlueOptima is seeking a proactive Implementation Engineer to lead client onboarding and provide Tier 1 technical support. Based in Bangalore, this client‑facing position sits at the intersection of implementation, troubleshooting, and customer enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end onboarding for new clients, including project planning, setup, and technical implementation.
• Install and configure the BlueOptima platform and resolve integration, access, and data‑error issues.
• Monitor client data health, proactively identifying and fixing collection or integration problems.
• Train client‑side administrators to manage platform operations independently.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure a seamless experience and feedback loop.

Required profile

• 4+ years in a technical client‑facing role.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Basic Linux navigation and log review.
• Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals.
• SQL query writing and reading.
• Bash scripting.
• Fundamental networking concepts (IP whitelisting, firewall, connectivity).
