Data Lakehouse Tech Lead – IT Engineer

About the role

The Data Lakehouse Tech Lead will govern enterprise‑wide data and analytics standards within the Databricks Lakehouse environment. You will drive consistency, reuse, and performance of core data artifacts while collaborating with global data engineering and data science teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain 3NF and warehouse modeling standards across the enterprise.
• Review and approve data & analytics models, ensuring alignment with governance, naming, and metadata standards.
• Guide partitioning, indexing, performance tuning and semantic integration with Power BI and other tools.
• Own common functions such as FX conversion, BOM logic, and time‑slicing.
• Support high‑performance and high‑complexity challenges, including ML/AI pipeline integration and LLM/API patterns.
• Maintain architectural blueprints, templates, cost‑efficiency policies and auto‑scaling configurations.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related field; Databricks or Microsoft certifications preferred.
• 6–10 years of data engineering experience with enterprise data warehouses, lakehouse modeling and ML integration.
• Proven track record of architectural ownership and peer enablement in international, multi‑time‑zone teams.
