ICT Engineer – Network & Systems Specialist

About the role

The ICT Engineer will design, integrate and maintain robust network, communication and software systems for commercial and residential projects. The role ensures high‑performance, secure and reliable IT infrastructure across servers, cabling, security and building management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware/software solutions including servers, routers, switches, HVAC, power, CCTV, access control and fibre‑optic networks.
• Develop network architectures, wireless solutions and low‑voltage structured cabling.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices, data‑protection regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with vendors, document technical specifications and support project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections, oversee testing, commissioning and implementation of IT, telecom, security and AV systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience preparing preliminary and detailed designs for telecommunications, data, IPTV, SMATV, AV, BMS and electronic safety and security.

Required skills

• LAN/WAN technologies, IP addressing, routing protocols and firewalls.
• Server administration on Linux and Windows platforms.
• Network monitoring tools, databases and scripting with Python.
• Cisco networking knowledge.
• Fibre‑optic, CCTV, access‑control and low‑voltage ELV systems.
• Understanding of HVAC, power systems, BMS and building services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity tools.
