HR Project Analyst

About the role

Glencore's Group HR team in Chennai is looking for an HR Project Analyst to support a broad range of Group HR projects and processes, covering people operations, HR technology and organisational development. The role suits someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable coordinating across several workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships with HR stakeholders and help them deliver project outcomes across the HR portfolio.
• Gather and organise data for project and Group HR reporting, including current-state data collection, tracker maintenance and input into insights and findings.
• Support recurring HR process cycles such as performance management, succession planning and people surveys, including scheduling, data collection and follow-up.
• Maintain project plans, milestones and status trackers, flagging delays or risks to the Project Manager.
• Prepare presentations, reports and status updates for stakeholders.
• Identify improvements to processes, tools and templates and support their implementation.
• Coordinate logistics for working sessions and stakeholder meetings, including scheduling, materials and follow-up.
• Support program governance by maintaining reporting cadences, tracking decisions and action items, and preparing materials for steering committees.
• Share industry trend insights with the project team and support change management, including communications and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent in HR, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in project analysis, reporting or project support; Management Consulting or HR experience is an advantage.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Spanish is beneficial.
• Ability to handle sensitive HR data with discretion.
