HR & Administration Manager – Plant Operations

About the role

The HR & Administration Manager will lead all human‑resource and facility functions at Della Group’s manufacturing plant in Daman. This role acts as the bridge between factory operations, employees, corporate HR, and local labor authorities to ensure compliant and productive plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure 100% compliance with the Factories Act, 1948, Daman & Diu Factory Rules and related labor legislation; maintain mandatory registers and submit periodic statutory returns.
• Coordinate with Labor Commissioners, Factory Inspectors, Pollution Control Board, fire authorities and external legal consultants for inspections and certifications.
• Oversee end‑to‑end plant recruitment, time‑keeping, shift management, attendance tracking, overtime calculation and monthly payroll processing using HRMS (Sensys).
• Drive employee engagement, handle grievances, conduct disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries and ensure industrial peace on the shop floor.
• Manage day‑to‑day administration of the factory campus including security, housekeeping, canteen, transportation, pest control and scrap handling.
• Maintain health, safety and hygiene standards in collaboration with EHS officers and supervise vendor contracts, service terms and invoice verification.

Required profile

• MBA, MSW or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management or Industrial Relations; LL.B. is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in plant‑level HR operations, statutory compliance and facilities administration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRMS (Sensys) payroll software.
