Hospital Pharmacist

About the role

The hospital pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join the clinical team. You will be responsible for ensuring safe and accurate medication delivery to in‑patients, out‑patients and emergency services while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately according to doctors’ orders.
• Review prescriptions for correct dosage, potential drug interactions and contraindications.
• Provide medication counseling to patients and caregivers.
• Maintain records of narcotic and scheduled drugs in line with legal requirements.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and stock rotation of medicines and medical supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate procurement and remove expired or damaged items.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on medication‑related queries.
• Keep the pharmacy area clean and adhere to hospital policies and statutory guidelines.
• Prepare and submit required pharmacy reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm).
• Valid registration with the Pharmacy Council.
• 0–3 years of experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting (preferred).
