Resident Nurse – Provide Care at Destitute Home

About the role

The Resident Nurse will live on‑site at a destitute home, delivering continuous medical care, health monitoring, and emotional support to vulnerable residents. This position combines clinical duties with compassionate assistance to ensure a safe, clean, and dignified environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care, administer medications, and monitor residents’ health conditions.
• Assist with daily activities such as hygiene, nutrition, and mobility support.
• Maintain accurate medical records and promptly report any changes to the supervising doctor.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals for routine check‑ups and emergency situations.
• Ensure cleanliness and enforce infection‑control standards in nursing and residential areas.
• Deliver first aid and manage minor illnesses or injuries promptly.

Required profile

• Qualified with ANM, GNM or BSc Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Compassionate, patient‑centered attitude with strong observation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, handle emergencies, and maintain emotional resilience.
• Basic computer literacy for record‑keeping.
