Head of Quality Services

About the role

The Head of Quality Services leads Lonza's Global Capability Center (GCC) Quality Services organization, providing centralized support for quality systems, documentation, compliance, data analytics, translation, and related operations. The role ensures efficient, compliant, and customer‑focused delivery of global quality services through standardized processes, strong governance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the GCC Quality Services organization, establishing service delivery models, governance frameworks, and operating standards aligned with global quality requirements.
• Oversee global documentation services, including lifecycle management, archiving, translation, and compliance with GMP and data‑integrity regulations.
• Drive quality compliance support activities such as metrics reporting, complaint administration, record coordination, and inspection readiness across the global network.
• Lead quality data‑analytics capabilities, providing trend analysis, statistical support, reporting, and visualization for quality reviews and decision‑making.
• Promote operational excellence and digital transformation by driving automation, simplification, standardization, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Partner closely with site quality organizations, digital teams, and business stakeholders to enhance quality performance and support inspection readiness.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in quality services or related functions within a global, regulated environment.
• Strong track record of establishing governance frameworks and delivering consistent, compliant services.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
