About the role

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to lead the legal function of a fast‑growing fintech SaaS company based in Bangalore. The role will shape the company’s legal strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and support high‑impact business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Build, mentor and manage a high‑performing legal team.
• Oversee all B2B commercial contracting, ensuring contracts align with business objectives.
• Lead regulatory affairs, maintaining compliance with fintech and SaaS regulations.
• Drive M&A activities, including due diligence, negotiations and integration.
• Support fundraising rounds by structuring and reviewing investment documents.
• Manage disputes and risk mitigation strategies across domestic and international markets.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to senior leadership on corporate governance and operational matters.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law.
• Extensive background in B2B commercial contracting, regulatory affairs, M&A, fundraising, disputes and risk management.
• Demonstrated exposure to international markets.
• Experience in both law firm and in‑house environments is preferred.
