Head of Contract Administration

About the role

The Head of Contract Administration will lead the end‑to‑end contract process, ensuring contracts are prepared, reviewed, modified and executed in line with project goals and timelines. This role works closely with project managers and cross‑functional teams to align contractual obligations with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review and modification of all contracts, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Draft contract terms, coordinate inputs from relevant departments and obtain all required approvals before finalisation.
• Develop and support business plans related to contracts, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
• Apply expertise across fixed‑price, cost‑reimbursable, time‑and‑material and performance‑based contracts.
• Conduct market research, benchmark best practices and oversee the preparation of Non‑Financial Assessments.
• Gather data and insights to support Service Development and Contract Managers.
• Monitor, collate and analyse contract performance, producing detailed compliance and effectiveness reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract administration or legal contract management.
• Strong knowledge of various contract types and their specific management requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and research skills to support decision‑making.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of fixed‑price, cost‑reimbursable, time‑and‑material and performance‑based contracts.
• Proficiency in contract drafting, review and approval processes.
• Ability to prepare and analyse contract performance reports.
