About the role

The Head Nurse leads the nursing team within a hospital setting, ensuring high‑quality patient care and smooth daily operations. This senior position combines clinical expertise with strong leadership to drive standards of safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and coordinate the nursing staff, including duty‑roster planning and daily assignments.
• Enforce infection‑control protocols and clinical guidelines across all units.
• Oversee drug inventory, monitor expiry dates and place replenishment orders.
• Monitor patient‑care quality, ensure accurate medical record keeping, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Nursing or related field.
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience in a hospital environment.
• Ability to make rapid, sound decisions during emergencies or crises.

Required skills
