Gym Equipment Technician

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and certified Gym Equipment Technician to join our fitness team. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing a wide range of gym equipment, ensuring safety and optimal performance for our members.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, and other fitness equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Install and assemble new equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and spare‑part inventory.
• Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with the fitness team to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.

Required profile

• Certification in gym equipment repair or a related technical field (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience repairing and maintaining fitness equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
• Effective communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
