Guest Service Associate – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Guest Service Associate (GSA) works full‑time at our Mathura restaurant, welcoming guests and delivering a seamless food and beverage experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving meals, and ensuring each guest enjoys a clean, friendly, and efficient dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Serve meals and drinks at tables or counters, ensuring timely delivery.
• Set up and clear dining areas, maintain table hygiene and overall restaurant cleanliness.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to relay orders and resolve any service issues.
• Handle guest inquiries, address basic concerns and promote menu items.
• Assist with billing, cash handling and occasional inventory checks.

Required profile

• Strong food service and beverage knowledge with an understanding of basic restaurant operations.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Basic culinary awareness of menu items, ingredients and food safety.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Mathura, including weekends and shift work.
• Attention to hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards.
• Previous experience in restaurants, cafés or hotels is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, carry trays and perform related tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
