Group Finance Director – International Operations

About the role

Plantrich Group is seeking an experienced Group Finance Director to lead its finance function across India, Germany and Vietnam. Reporting to the Managing Director and Board, you will drive profitability, cash‑flow management, funding, and financial control while supporting the company’s international growth.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor profitability by company, country, product, customer and shipment; improve gross margin, EBITDA and net profit.
• Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and budget‑vs‑actual analysis.
• Manage group cash flow, liquidity, working capital and optimise borrowing structures.
• Oversee banking relationships, export finance facilities and maintain bank limits.
• Handle foreign investment flows, FEMA, FDI/ODI compliance and coordinate financial activities across all geographies.
• Monitor INR, USD and EUR exposures; develop currency‑risk hedging strategies.
• Control inventory, receivables and payables to improve the cash‑conversion cycle.
• Evaluate capital projects, analyse ROI, IRR, payback period and cash‑flow impact.
• Strengthen internal controls, ensure statutory, tax and financial compliance, and coordinate audits.
• Prepare consolidated monthly MIS and management reports for the MD and Board.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification; MBA in Finance preferred.
• 10+ years of finance experience, preferably with international business exposure.
• Proven experience managing finance functions across multiple countries (India, Germany, Vietnam).
