Granulation Technician – Block A

About the role

The Granulation Technician will operate and monitor granulation equipment in a cGMP‑compliant pharmaceutical environment. You will ensure the consistent production of high‑quality granules used for tablet or capsule formulations while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate high‑shear mixers, fluid‑bed dryers, oscillating mills and blenders according to batch manufacturing records.
• Weigh, dispense and mix raw materials, monitoring granulation parameters and adjusting settings to maintain product quality.
• Perform in‑process checks such as moisture content and granule size, documenting results accurately.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas following SOPs, and execute machine changeovers and line clearances.
• Identify and report deviations or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and troubleshooting initiatives while ensuring compliance with cGMP, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma/B.Sc or equivalent; technical diploma preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in granulation.
• Familiarity with cGMP, USFDA guidelines and pharmaceutical documentation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret batch records and SOPs.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of production documentation.
