General Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

Vilmaris Hotel, a premium hospitality destination in North Goa, is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead hotel operations. The role involves driving business growth, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of service and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Security, Sales & Marketing, and Finance.
• Conduct daily operational meetings, property inspections, and ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
• Deliver outstanding guest satisfaction, handle VIP guests, and resolve escalated concerns.
• Achieve revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and profitability targets; prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Identify new revenue streams through packages, events, corporate business, and partnerships.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop departmental heads and staff; foster a high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to increase direct bookings and corporate partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8–12+ years progressive hospitality experience, including 3–5 years as General Manager, Resident Manager, or Operations Head in a premium hotel or resort.
• Experience managing boutique or luxury properties is highly preferred.
