Full‑time Obstetrician & Gynecologist

About the role

The position is a full‑time, on‑site Obstetrician & Gynecologist at SREE SARAN MEDICAL CENTER in Tiruppur. You will deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women across antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and surgical services, supporting the centre’s mission of compassionate, patient‑centered treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, diagnose and manage obstetric and gynecologic conditions.
• Perform and assist in gynecologic surgeries and obstetric procedures, ensuring safe operative care.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency and high‑risk cases.
• Maintain accurate medical records, interpret diagnostic tests, and provide counseling to patients and families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, clinical rounds, health camps, audits, and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Recognised MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology (MD, MS, DNB or equivalent).
• Valid registration with the medical council.
• Strong clinical decision‑making ability and experience handling complex and emergency cases.
• Commitment to ethical, patient‑centered care and effective teamwork.
• Willingness to work in a busy hospital environment, including on‑call duties.
