Fullstack (React JS + Node JS) Developer

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Fullstack Developer to design, build, and ship end‑to‑end web features using ReactJS on the frontend and Node.js on the backend. You will translate product requirements into clean, maintainable code while collaborating with designers, QA, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive UI components with ReactJS and manage state using modern patterns.
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services in Node.js.
• Ensure secure authentication/authorization flows and robust error handling.
• Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
• Profile and optimise frontend rendering and backend response times for performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver polished releases and iterate based on feedback.
• Contribute to AI‑enabled enhancements such as intelligent recommendations or workflow automation where applicable.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on fullstack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, asynchronous programming, and modern frontend patterns.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and testing practices.
• Relevant degree (BE, ME, BTech, MTech, MCA, MSc, MBA) or equivalent practical experience.
