Frontend Software Engineer – React, Node/NextJS, Typescript

About the role

Gartner IT is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join the Gartner Peer Insights team. You will help build and enhance a scalable, secure platform that powers Gartner Peer Platform sites, working in an Agile environment with modern web technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement user‑facing features using ReactJS, NodeJS/Next.js and Typescript.
• Integrate applications with databases, AWS services and RESTful APIs.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Translate design mock‑ups and style guides into responsive, cross‑browser interfaces.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams throughout the full development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience building customer‑facing web applications.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and analytical abilities.
• Understanding of security best practices.
