FRC Analyst – Finance Risk Controls

About the role

The role is responsible for running a set of controls designed to mitigate financial and operational risks while partnering with business‑oriented teams on continuous improvement, error management and best‑practice adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily spot‑check controls to ensure invoice postings are 100 % accurate.
• Detect and prevent duplicate or erroneous invoice postings before Accounts Payable payment proposal execution.
• Perform timely analysis and reconciliation of vendor overdue items within the FRC scope.
• Conduct 4‑Eye principle analysis, sample checks and CRM reviews for direct and indirect procurement to control PO changes.
• Support external year‑end audit and internal audits.
• Develop and implement tactics to improve posting quality and mitigate financial risks, acting as controller for clearing vendor open items.
• Facilitate communication between business‑oriented teams and the FRC team, promoting process‑improvement initiatives.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects related to FRC processes.
• Execute credit recovery from vendors for the assigned portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, audit or compliance functions.
• Advanced proficiency in English; intermediate Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA and SAP FI.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies; exposure to Power BI preferred.
