FPGA Specialist / Tech Lead

About the role
AFRY is seeking experienced FPGA developers to join its product development and IT teams in Pune. The role involves leading technical design, implementation and verification of complex FPGA solutions for customers in telecom, automotive, medical and defence sectors.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of hands‑on FPGA development using VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Experience with FPGA domain‑crossing designs, timing analysis and floorplanning.
- Proficiency with AMD/Xilinx or Intel/Altera devices and tools such as Vivado, ISE or Quartus.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Tcl.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Preferred: prior telecom development experience and work with gigabit transceivers.
- Preferred: knowledge of FPGA/ASIC verification methodologies such as UVM.
