FP&A Executive – SaaS Finance Specialist

About the role

Sar Analytics is seeking an FP&A Executive to own the planning, forecasting and performance‑analysis engine for its SaaS business. This role blends rigorous financial modelling with clear storytelling, turning data into actionable insights for management and board reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Annual Operating Plan, budgets and rolling forecasts, including ARR/MRR revenue and headcount cost models.
• Run monthly budget‑vs‑actual and forecast variance analysis, providing written commentary on drivers of change.
• Track and explain core SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, NRR, CAC, LTV and pipeline conversion.
• Own the management reporting pack and board decks, delivering dashboards, executive summaries and one‑pagers.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success and Product to ensure data consistency across CRM, billing and finance systems, automating recurring reports.

Required profile

• MBA (Finance), CA, CMA or equivalent finance qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, business finance or analytics, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
• Strong understanding of P&L, cash‑flow and revenue‑recognition fundamentals.
• Ability to translate operational metrics into financial statements and strategic decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (financial modelling, Power Query, array formulas).
• Power BI (data modelling, DAX, dashboard creation).
• PowerPoint (executive‑ready presentation decks).
• SQL or ability to extract data from data warehouses (optional but preferred).
• Familiarity with planning or billing tools such as Anaplan, Cube, Pigment, Zuora or Chargebee.
