FP&A Executive – SaaS Finance Specialist

About the role

Sar Analytics is seeking an FP&A Executive to own the planning, forecasting and performance‑analysis engine for its SaaS business. This role blends deep financial modelling with clear storytelling, turning data into actionable insights for management and board reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the annual operating plan, budgets and rolling forecasts, including ARR/MRR revenue models and headcount/cost structures.
• Conduct monthly budget‑vs‑actual and forecast variance analysis, providing concise written commentary on drivers of change.
• Track and explain core SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, NRR, CAC, LTV and pipeline conversion.
• Own the management reporting pack and board decks, delivering dashboards, executive summaries and one‑page briefs.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success and Product teams to ensure data consistency across CRM, billing and finance systems, automating recurring reports where possible.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of SaaS metrics and ability to compute, report and interpret ARR, MRR, churn, NRR, CAC, LTV and pipeline conversion.
• Strong understanding of P&L, cash‑flow and revenue‑recognition fundamentals, linking operational metrics to financial statements.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling, pivots, Power Query and auditable model structures.
• Proficiency in Power BI (including DAX) and PowerPoint to create executive‑ready dashboards and presentations.
• Analytical rigour with clear assumptions, error‑checking and concise reporting.
• MBA (Finance), CA, CMA or equivalent qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, business finance or analytics, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
