FP&A Analyst – Finance Business Partnering

About the role

Due to the continued and rapid growth of Wise, we’re on the hunt for an ambitious, analytical FP&A professional to join our global Finance Business Partnering team in Hyderabad. You’ll be part of the team that helps pilot the rocket ship.

Key responsibilities

• Support Finance Business Partnering in helping departments understand their cost base, manage budgets and optimise efficiency.
• Support budgeting and re‑forecasting processes, building accurate financial models and forecasts for operating expenses (OPEX) and key business growth drivers.
• Perform actuals vs. forecast variance analysis to identify risks, opportunities and trends that support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Improve existing financial models and BI dashboards to deepen actionable commercial insights delivered to business leads.
• Generate meaningful insights through data‑backed financial analysis, presenting a clear and concise narrative.

Required profile

• 2‑4+ years of relevant finance experience.
• Proven ability to build, maintain and audit complex financial models in Excel or Google Sheets, with experience in variance analysis and budgeting.
• Comfortable building inter‑team relationships and communicating complex financial numbers in simple narratives.
• Proficient in spreadsheet modelling, data extraction and analysis, and modern BI tools.
• Solid grasp of expense classification (fixed vs. variable, vendor vs. headcount) and general financial statements.
