Food & Beverage Sales - Assistant Manager

About the role

The Food & Beverage Sales Assistant Manager supports the daily supervision of restaurant operations at JW Marriott Goa, ensuring high standards of service, sanitation, and guest satisfaction. The role involves assisting with menu planning, staff coordination during peak periods, and continuous improvement of both guest and employee experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the restaurant team, handling employee queries, and providing performance feedback.
• Supervise daily shift operations, open and close shifts, and ensure all supplies, equipment, and uniforms are available.
• Communicate food quality and service issues to the Chef and Restaurant Manager.
• Monitor compliance with restaurant policies, local alcohol service laws, and budgetary targets.
• Interact with guests to gather feedback, resolve complaints, and promote exceptional service.
• Conduct training initiatives, coach staff, and enforce performance expectations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food & beverage or culinary experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, etc., with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to supervise staff, manage operations, and maintain high service standards.
