Fire Safety Officer

About the role

The Fire Safety Officer will ensure that all fire safety systems, equipment, and procedures at the hotel meet statutory and brand standards. This role involves regular fire drills, inspections, risk assessments, and employee training to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain fire safety systems, equipment, and procedures in line with regulations and brand standards.
• Conduct regular fire drills, safety inspections, and risk assessments across the property.
• Train hotel employees on fire safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
• Coordinate with local authorities, manage incident reports, and ensure full compliance with fire safety regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Fire & Safety Engineering or Fire Technology from a recognized institute.
• Additional certifications such as Fire Warden or Fire Marshal.
• Knowledge of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards.
