Finishing Line Supervisor

About the role

The Finishing Line Supervisor oversees the final stage of production, ensuring that products are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. This role leads a diverse workforce, coordinates machines and materials, and drives productivity while maintaining strict safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate manpower based on skill sets and workload, monitoring hourly and daily output against targets.
• Ensure smooth workflow, adherence to production schedules, and on‑time dispatch of finished goods.
• Enforce safety rules, 5S housekeeping standards, and quality controls to achieve zero‑defect output.
• Manage equipment breakdowns and process bottlenecks, coordinating with maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Communicate effectively with upstream teams to handle priority changes and maintain material availability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support change management on the line.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising manufacturing or production lines, preferably in a finishing environment.
• Strong ability to lead, motivate, and discipline a variable workforce.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on meeting tight production and quality targets.
• Good understanding of safety, quality, and 5S standards.
