Support Coating Line Operator

About the role

The Support Coating Line Operator ensures the smooth operation of coating line machinery in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for setting up process parameters, monitoring production, and maintaining product quality throughout each shift.

Key responsibilities

• Operate coating line equipment according to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Set and adjust coating parameters such as line speed, thickness, temperature, tension, and curing conditions.
• Monitor production runs, perform product changeovers, and execute start‑up and shutdown activities.
• Conduct routine quality inspections, measuring thickness, adhesion, and surface finish, and initiate corrective actions when defects are identified.
• Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance of line equipment; report abnormalities and assist maintenance teams.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and 5S housekeeping standards; report unsafe conditions and incidents.
• Record production data, downtime, rejections, and process parameters; prepare daily production reports.
