Financial Reporting Analyst – Global Hub (Hyderabad)

About the role

BASF is building a new Global Hub in India and is looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to support the Finance Reporting Controls (FRC) function. You will work closely with finance, procurement and audit teams to ensure invoice accuracy, mitigate financial risks and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily spot‑check controls to guarantee 100% accurate invoice postings.
• Detect and prevent duplicate or erroneous invoices before AP payment proposals.
• Analyse and reconcile vendor overdue items within the FRC scope.
• Perform 4‑Eye principle checks, sample reviews and CRM validation for direct and indirect procurement.
• Support external year‑end audit and internal BXWSl audits.
• Develop and implement tactics to improve posting quality and clear vendor open items.
• Facilitate communication between Business Oriented Teams and the FRC team.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects related to FRC processes.
• Execute credit recovery activities for assigned vendor portfolios.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in finance, audit or compliance functions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced global environment.
