Financial Controller

About the role

We are a fast‑growing D2C cosmetics brand with a global e‑commerce footprint. We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead accounting, reporting, and compliance across our multi‑entity structure and support our rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting operations including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and prepare MIS, financial statements, and management reports.
• Maintain compliance with Ind AS, IFRS, GAAP, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Transfer Pricing and other local/international regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants; uphold strong internal controls.
• Oversee accounting for international entities, multi‑currency transactions, FX exposure, revenue recognition, chargebacks, refunds, marketplace settlements and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to drive growth.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance and accounting team and act as a key finance partner to business, operations and leadership.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with solid grounding in accounting standards, taxation and financial controls.
• Prior experience in an international e‑commerce, digital or technology company is preferred.
• Exposure to multi‑entity, multi‑country operations and handling audits/compliance for global subsidiaries.

Required skills

• ERP systems – NetSuite, SAP, Oracle or similar.
• Multi‑currency accounting and FX exposure management.
• Financial reporting, GL, AR, AP, fixed assets and inventory accounting.
• Compliance with Ind AS, IFRS, GAAP, GST, VAT and other tax regulations.
