Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the end‑to‑end controllership function for the company and its group entities. Reporting to the CFO, the role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong governance, efficient finance operations, and cash‑flow discipline while supporting strategic transactions and capital‑market readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual close, preparing standalone and consolidated statements in line with Ind AS.
• Maintain balance‑sheet hygiene through GL reviews, reconciliations, provisions, accruals and inter‑company balances.
• Produce management reports with analytical insights on performance, cash flow, working capital and KPIs.
• Lead statutory, internal, tax and special‑purpose audits and ensure timely resolution of observations.
• Establish and monitor internal financial controls, SOPs and audit readiness.
• Oversee core finance processes (AP, AR, revenue accounting, fixed assets, payroll, record‑to‑report).
• Ensure robust inventory accounting, valuation and ERP‑to‑books reconciliation across manufacturing sites.
• Drive cash‑flow visibility and working‑capital optimisation.
• Support M&A, investments, IPO preparation and finance integration activities.
• Lead, mentor and develop the controllership and finance operations team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial controllership and reporting, preferably within a group environment.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS and consolidation principles.
• Proven track record managing audits, internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with strategic finance projects such as M&A, IPO readiness or large‑scale transformations.
• Leadership capability to build and develop high‑performing finance teams.
