Financial Controller (Hybrid, Mumbai)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting, reporting, and treasury functions for our Mumbai office. The role operates in a hybrid mode, combining on‑site collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and ensure monthly reconciliations.
• Close month‑end, produce management reports, and maintain compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
• Implement internal controls, enforce Delegation of Authority, and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and oversee treasury operations and banking relationships.
• Identify financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure segregation of duties to prevent fraud.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑CA experience in finance controllership.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate governance.
• Proven ability to lead month‑end close, audit coordination, and treasury management.
• Excellent analytical and risk‑management capabilities.
