Finance Manager – SAP & Treasury Specialist

About the role

The Finance Manager will support the Head of Finance in driving financial planning, treasury operations and statutory compliance. The role requires strong hands‑on experience with SAP HANA and a deep understanding of Indian tax and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual plans, budgets and board‑level approvals.
• Produce cash‑flow statements and sales outlooks, comparing them with prior‑year data.
• Monitor daily fund balances, authorize payment disbursements and manage short‑term bank loans, interest payments and rollovers.
• Invest surplus cash in short‑term mutual funds within approved policy limits.
• Compile board notes and assist in obtaining board approvals.
• Maintain financial statements, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, ageing of payables and perform bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate statutory, tax, cost, internal and limited‑review audits.
• File Income Tax Returns, XBRL returns and Form 61A.
• Ensure GST compliance, file returns and address authority queries.
• Handle export/import documentation, foreign‑currency payments, customs clearances and IGST refunds.
• Review accounts receivable ageing and pursue overdue collections.
• Manage forex forward contracts, bookings, cancellations and account for related P&L per Ind AS 109.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with SAP HANA environment.
• Proven ability to prepare budgets, cash‑flow forecasts and board presentations.
• Experience in treasury management, short‑term loan administration and cash‑investment decisions.
• Strong knowledge of Indian GST, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
• Familiarity with export/import procedures, customs documentation and foreign‑exchange operations.
• Experience coordinating various financial audits.
