Finance Controller – Inspection Business

About the role
The Finance Controller will lead the finance and project controlling function for the inspection business of a well‑known multinational company in Mumbai. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting project budgets and providing analytical insight to senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations for the inspection business.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
- Coordinate project‑related financial controls and cost tracking.
- Provide analytical support and variance analysis to drive business decisions.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely information flow.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification preferred.
- 6–7 years of finance or project controlling experience.
- Prior experience in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
