Field Service Technician – Punch/Bend (Bangalore)

About the role

TRUMPF is seeking a Field Service Technician specialized in punch/bend machines to join its Bangalore team. You will be the front‑line technical expert, delivering fast, reliable service and ensuring high machine availability for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality technical support to customers, ensuring rapid breakdown recovery and high machine availability.
• Perform high‑quality installation, start‑up and preventive maintenance of punch/bend machines.
• Conduct root‑cause diagnostics and troubleshooting on site.
• Deliver operator maintenance training according to established processes.
• Maintain disciplined communication, documentation and courteous customer interaction.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in field service or similar technical roles.
• BE/B.Tech/Diploma/NCVT/NCTVT in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics engineering.
• Willingness to travel up to 100 % regionally and nationally.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.
