Extrusion & Buncher Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Extrusion and Buncher Operator to join our manufacturing team in Karamadai. The successful candidate will set up, run and monitor extrusion and bunching equipment to produce wires, cables and copper conductors in line with production specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials and load/unload reels on extrusion and bunching machines.
• Adjust machine parameters such as speed, temperature and tension using hand tools.
• Conduct in‑process quality checks on dimensions, surface finish and conductor properties.
• Record production data and report any deviations or equipment issues promptly.
• Perform routine cleaning, basic preventive maintenance and adhere to safety, housekeeping and 5S practices.
• Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance teams and co‑workers to meet daily production targets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or ITI/technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Fitter or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work shift‑based schedules, stand for extended periods and handle moderate physical tasks.
• Good communication skills for coordination and accurate documentation.

Required skills

• Extrusion machine operation.
• Bunching machine operation.
• Hand tool usage for setup, adjustments and minor repairs.
• In‑process quality inspection using measuring instruments.
• Basic preventive maintenance of production equipment.
