About the role
The Executive – Sales Commercial will provide critical backend support to the sales function, ensuring that material is delivered to customers on time, warehouse operations run efficiently, and all established systems and procedures are followed.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor order cycle time and coordinate with customers and sales teams to resolve material service issues.
- Manage warehouse productivity, conduct regular stock verification, and control variances.
- Implement and optimise the Transport Management System and rationalise route plans.
- Assess and propose capex projects for warehouse and sales office infrastructure, and oversee their execution.
- Assist regional commercial teams with overhead budgeting and monitor freight cost per ton.
- Process vendor payments, ensure timely closures, and maintain open goods receipts.
- Track statutory licences, update compliance portals, and support audits (ISO, 5S, internal).
- Conduct safety audits and maintain a safe working environment.
- Prepare and circulate monthly performance reports.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in any stream (BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, BBM, BMS) with at least 50% marks and no backlogs.
- Full‑time graduation completed.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Transport Management Systems.
- Familiarity with warehouse management processes and stock verification.
- Basic understanding of vendor payment cycles and statutory compliance.
